Projects between 2004-2006
In 2003, the HAZ committee decided to spend the last two years of the HAZ focussing on three major local priorities, these were Cancer, Diabetes and Tuberculosis. These three reflected national and local priorites and also reflected conditions in which health inequalities play a significant factor.
These became the priority areas for 2004 - 2006. There were a further two projects funded in the area of mental health and an needs assesment wil be carried out in the area of young disabled people and those with sensory impairment. |
